I have a nutrition and weight management qualification which enables me to give diet advice to my clients. To achieve results, it is important to realise that diet and exercise work together and one without the other slows the process of achieving goals.
In today's World, there is no escaping the temptation of food and drink. The majority of people love their food and whilst this is perfectly healthy, there is also that old saying...."you can have too much of a good thing". Overindulging on a regular basis where food and drink are concerned, will certainly start to play havoc with your body. Expanding waist lines, poor energy levels, slow digestion, mood swings and bad skin are all too common in society today and a large part of this is to do with the poor diet adopted by so many people. Feeding your body the wrong fuel will only dampen your desire to work out thus creating a vicious circle.
I give my clients realistic nutrition advice....it's not rocket science, just good, healthy, enjoyable eating. As with anything that is worth doing, sacrifices initially have to be made, but my current clients have been amazed by the difference a better balanced diet has made to them. It has given them more energy for not only everyday life, but also their training sessions, encouraging them to work harder thus creating a successful relationship between diet and fitness.
An option I give my clients (which is included in the price), is for them to fill in a food diary for the first few weeks that we work together. This enables me to see exactly what somebody's diet consists of and helps me to tweak things until I am happy it is going to serve them in the best possible manner.
